Help & Community Guidelines

Getting started
How does matching work?
You add one or more commutes โ the stations you board, the lines you take, roughly when. We show you profiles of other commuters whose routes overlap yours. More shared stations and lines = higher in the feed.
What's a "Touch In"?
It's the verb for saying "I like them." Tap the coral heart or swipe right on a profile. If they Touch In on you too, it becomes a match and you can chat.
What's "Tube Crush"?
A post on the Feed tab describing someone you saw on the tube without naming them. Rules: no real names, no identifying photos of the person, respectful language. See the Terms for full guidelines.
What's my "Mood"?
A quick signal on your profile: ๐ฌ Up for a chat ยท ๐ง Headphones in ยท ๐ In a book ยท ๐ด Don't bother me. Tells other commuters whether you're in the mood to meet right now. Set it in Profile โ Edit.
Privacy & safety
Who sees my commute route?
Only users whose own route overlaps yours see your commute details, and only approximately (stations + lines + rough time window). We never share precise real-time location.
How do I block someone?
In a chat thread, tap โฎ โ Block. Or inside their profile. Blocks are immediate โ they won't see your profile again and any existing match dissolves.
How do I report someone?
In a chat โ โฎ โ Report. On a feed post โ โฏ โ Report post. From a profile โ โฎ โ Report. Pick a reason. We operate a zero-tolerance policy and review reports of objectionable content, removing it and/or ejecting the user, within 24 hours.
How do I delete my account?
Profile tab โ scroll to bottom โ "Delete my account". Confirmation dialog, then it's gone. Data is removed within 30 days (some kept for legal/safety reasons for up to 12 months โ see Privacy).
I forgot my password.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" We send a reset link to your email. If you don't get it, check spam, then email support@findyourcommuter.com.
The commute metaphor (what makes us different)
Other dating apps match on "I think they're cute in a photo." We match on "we're physically on the same train at the same time." That's the thing. Your Touch In is a signal that you'd want to meet this person IRL โ on the platform, in the carriage, at the coffee shop at your shared station.
We can't guarantee you'll bump into them. But if you do, at least you'll have something to say: "Victoria line northbound at 7:15, right?"
Community guidelines
- Be a decent commuter. The same manners that apply on the tube apply here: don't block doorways, don't take up two seats, don't be weird.
- Don't harass. If someone stops replying, take the hint. Don't Touch In from an alt account.
- Don't dox. Don't post someone's name, photo, or specific identifying details on the Feed without their permission.
- Keep it 18+. This is an adults-only platform. Report anyone you suspect is underage.
- Meet safely. First meeting in public, tell a friend where you're going, own transport home, trust your gut.
